Vita Cabinetry was founded on a simple idea: most cabinet companies sell to warehouses. We sell to people who actually install them. Nine doors, ready in a day. Quality you can drag your fingernails across. A real human at the other end of the line.
Vita started where most cabinet companies wouldn't dare — at a folding table in a Baltimore garage, with a single sample door and a list of every contractor in the zip code.
Years later we still sell the same way: through local dealers who know the trade, who know your house, who know when your kitchen has to be done by Thanksgiving. We just ship more doors.
Solid-wood door frames with mortise-and-tenon joints. 5/8" plywood boxes with matching finished interiors. Dovetail drawers on Blum soft-close glides. Movable metal shelf supports.
Every Vita cabinet is built to the same spec, whether it's a $189 vanity door or a $400 reeded oak. Different look, same construction. We don't believe in "good, better, best" — we believe in best, full stop.
The contractor who measures your kitchen knows it better than any algorithm. We sell through them on purpose.
For 90% of kitchens, our nine doors are exactly what's needed. Our job is to make those nine doors really, really good.
A perfect cabinet that arrives in eight weeks is worse than a great cabinet that arrives in three days. We optimize for both.
